What is Working KITAS?

The Working Visa / Working KITAS is intended for foreigners that are employed to work in Indonesia for more than a few months. It is the most comprehensive working permit you can get and allows the user to actively earn income, open bank accounts, pay taxes, get a mobile phone etc.

To obtain a working permit you need to work for a company that is registered within Indonesia. This entity can be either a Foreign Owned Company (PMA), a Representative Office or an Indonesian Owned Company.

  • Photo/Scan Last Stamp of current Visa (Minimum Validation 60 days)
  • Domicile Letter Address in Bali
  • Lease Agreement Letter
  • Photo with red background
  • CV (Curriculum Vitae)
  • Certificate of Degree Graduated or Expertise
  • Working Detail Information
  • Vaccine Certificate
  • Letter of transfer of sponsor if your sponsor is different from the visit visa sponsor
  • Reporting to The Labor Department
  • RPTKA (Approval of Plan for using foreign employee)
  • Payment DPKK IMTA
  • IMTA (Working Permit)
  • Convert visit visa to KITAS at the local immigration
  • Approval regional office of the ministry of law and human rights
  • Approval directorate general of immigration
  • Biometric data retrieval (photo & fingerprint)
  • Verification data
  • Approval stage
  • KITAS issued
